Ground Beef Pastry (Kıymalı Börek)
Kıymalı Börek is a traditional Turkish pastry made with layers of phyllo dough and seasoned ground meat. While traditionally made with homemade dough, this version uses ready-made phyllo sheets, making it accessible for busy families while maintaining its delicious taste. The combination of milk and yogurt in the sauce ensures the börek stays moist yet crispy. Perfect for family gatherings or make-ahead meals, this börek can be customized with different fillings based on your family's preferences. For best results, use fresh phyllo dough and take time to let it rest before baking.
